Actress Sara Ramirez has withdrawn her donation to an LGBT center in New York claiming they failed to create a Bi+ training programme.
The Grey’s Anatomy alumna and bisexual activist tweeted about the incident on 11 March.
Just got a full refund from the NY LGBT Center because after a year & a half of promising my donation would create #bi+ assessments & training 4 their staff, it never happened. Good news is it’s going 2 @BiNetUSA 2 train @TrueColorsUnite (who’s ED scheduled within a few months)

Dueting with Cyndi Lauper

The actress has also previously shown her support to the LGBTI organization co-created by Lauper.
She dueted with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun singer in December 2018, when the Tony winner and Lauper teamed up for a stunning rendition of the famous queer anthem.
