Two women arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting trans woman at bar

Amber Harrell and Jessica Fowler, arrested by authorities, for assaulting a trans woman

Two women in North Carolina have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a transgender woman at a bar.

The incident report indicates it happened on 10 December at Milk Bar in Raleigh. Police arrested Amber Harrell, 38, and Jessica Fowler, 31, in connection with the assault. They were charged with second-degree kidnapping and sexual battery.

In the 911 call, the victim — unnamed — reported being harassed and assaulted in the bar bathroom.

She said Harrell and Fowler began making jokes about her genitalia. Then, according to ABC, she told the dispatcher: ‘She pulls her shirt up and says, ‘Do you want to see my b—s?’ and she pressed me up against the wall with her bare chest.’

The 911 call also revealed the bartender, upon seeing the victim was upset, asked the two women to stop.

‘She asked the girls two times to stop. The girl didn’t stop at first, so she forcefully had to tell the girl to stop — she was like groping my back, my stomach, it was uncomfortable,’ the victim explained.

Further, the victim said she suffered a panic attack in the bathroom following the incident.
