Poll: If heaven exists, do you think you would get in?

Here’s the story that inspired this poll:

Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon is the gay son of a pastor.

He works as a janitor at his dad’s church in Catonsville, Maryland, but he’s also an aspiring singer-songwriter.

Harmon appeared on American Idol last night (10 March) to try to impress judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

But during his prerecorded interview, he revealed coming out as gay to his family didn’t go according to plan.

Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon then said: ‘The consensus seemed to be that this is not a path that I should follow.

‘There’s times when I do feel alone. The hardest part for me is seeing how difficult it is for my family. I’m hopeful that it’s an experience where we can learn to grow together.’

He wrote a song called Almost Heaven for the audition.

It’s a song about questioning if there is a place for him and for people like him in heaven.
